Azerbaijan to pin hopes on eight karate fighters at 3rd European Games

Eight Azerbaijani karate fighters to contest medals at the third edition of the European Games to be held in Kraków and the regions of Małopolska in Poland from 21 June to 2 July 2023.
Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Eminagha Guliyev (60kg), Tural Aghalarzada (67kg), Farid Aghayev (75kg), Asiman Gurbanli (+84kg) as well as female karate fighters Fidan Teymurova (50kg), Madina Sadigova (55kg), Irina Zaretska (68kg) and Farida Aliyeva (+68kg).
During the Krakow-Malopolska 2023 European Games, 96 athletes from 20 countries will compete in individual kata and kumite in five different weight categories.
