U.S. Azerbaijan Education Center to open
Baku, June 10 (AZERTAC). The US-Azerbaijan Education Center will celebrate its grand opening with a “Study America” university fair Saturday. American and Azerbaijani alumni of U.S. universities will share information about more than 50 campuses, including Stanford, Florida State University, University of Missouri, Johns Hopkins University, Boston University.
The US-Azerbaijan Educational Center is a brand new facility that combines American Councils, IREX, the Baku Educational Information Center, and the U.S.-Educated Azerbaijani Alumni Association (AAA) into an all-in-one center where students can come for free advice and information about studying in the United States and the range of exchange program opportunities.
Speaking about the center, U.S. Ambassador Matthew Bryza said “this is something totally new in Azerbaijan”.
“Whether they want to apply independently to a U.S. university, find out about Embassy exchange programs, or just meet students who have already studied in America, the U.S.-Azerbaijan Education Center offers a one-stop-shop for anyone interested getting an education in the United States,” he added.
