Leyla Aliyeva honored with third-class Order of Princess Olga VIDEO
Astrakhan, December 20 (AZERTAC). A ceremony to award the third class Order of Princess Olga to Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva took place at the administration of the governor of the Astrakhan oblast.
The order was presented by Metropolitan of Astrakhan and Kamiziak Iona.
The ceremony was attended by the members of the Azerbaijani delegation and general public of the Astrakhan oblast.
Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kyril decreed to award Leyla Aliyeva with the third-class Order of the Princess St. Olga Equal-to-the-Apostles for the assistance in erection of the monument to the Prince Vladimir in Astrakhan and on the occasion of the 1025th anniversary of The Christianization of Russia and contribution to the friendship between Russia and Azerbaijan.
This order is presented to women for contribution to the state, public and ecclesiastical service. The recipients of the order include chairperson of the Council of Federations of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matviyenko, former president of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga, Grand Dutchess Maria Romanova.
