German RBB TV televise documentary on German trace in Azerbaijan
Baku, May 25 (AZERTAC). In Germany, the local RBB TV channel has aired a documentary "Hope of remote Caucasus - traces of Germans in Azerbaijan", which narrates on the Germans once living in Azerbaijan.
Documentary, "Hope of remote Caucasus - traces of Germans in Azerbaijan", has been presented in Stuttgart (Germany).
The film has been made by the Salname studio of Azerbaijan and Zudost German information agency. The director of the documentary is Mozhkan Ehrari.
The documentary narrates how in early XIX century from Germany the Germans were settled in Yelenendorf (now Goygol region) city of Azerbaijan.
Under the order of Stalin in 1941 past century, some 20 thousand of Germans from Azerbaijan were removed to the remote Sibearia and Kazakhstan.
The film production was also support by the Azerbaijani embassy in Germany. Chief executive of Azerbaijanis Coordination Center in Germany Samira Patzer-Ismaylova is also among the consultants.
The project was financed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, Foreign Ministry of Germany and EnBV Enerji Baden-Vurtemberq AG.
