Mikheil Saakashvili offers anniversary greetings to Azerbaijani-language Georgia newspaper

Tbilisi, March 26 (AZERTAC). Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has congratulated the staff of the Azerbaijani-language Georgia newspaper which celebrates the 90th anniversary of its founding.

In his congratulatory letter, Mr. Saakashvili praised the newspaper`s activity, saying it “has made tremendous contribution to statehood building in Georgia”.

“Over decades all remarkable events in our country have been highlighted by the newspaper. Friendly relations are of great importance to such small countries like Azerbaijan and Georgia.”

The Georgian leader said: “Your newspaper has loyally contributed to a noble mission of strengthening the friendly and neighborhood relations among nations.”

Another congratulatory letter to the newspaper came from chairman of the Georgian parliament David Bakradze.
