"Azerbaijan and the World": Middle Corridor strengthens Azerbaijan's role as a transport hub VIDEO

A new episode of the program "Azerbaijan and the World" has been released on the AZERTAC website. Host Tamilla Mamedova spoke with Gaidar Abdikerimov, an international expert in logistics and transport corridor development, about the importance of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) and the development of Azerbaijan's infrastructure.
Noting the growing importance of the Middle Corridor, the guest emphasized that, amidst the changing geopolitical situation, this route's role as a key logistics route in Eurasia continues to grow. He believes that the project's participating countries have strategically placed a timely focus on developing this route and are now prepared for the challenges posed by changing global trade and transport flows.
The expert also noted that Azerbaijan is now a fully-fledged transit hub, ensuring uninterrupted transportation on various international routes. He added that the modernization of railway infrastructure, the development of multimodal solutions, and the relocation of the Baku International Sea Trade Port to Alat have played a significant role in this.
