Aziz Özdemir: Cargo for our projects in Azerbaijan to be transported via the Zangezur corridor
Baku, February 25, AZERTAC
“My company has implemented numerous projects in Azerbaijan. We provide interior design and furniture for hotels, shopping centers, hospitals, and offices in Baku and Shusha. Currently, extensive restoration and construction work is underway in liberated Karabakh, and we are receiving orders,” Aziz Özdemir, head of the Turkish company "ROGI-Ahsap," told AZERTAC.
According to him, the fact that Azerbaijan and Türkiye are friend and brother nations, combined with the close personal friendship between the heads of both states, creates immense opportunities for business structures to establish tighter cooperation.
“Azerbaijan’s economic potential allows for beneficial cooperation not only with Türkiye but with various countries worldwide. Currently, Azerbaijan is working on global economic projects alongside Türkiye. The Middle Corridor and its extension, the Zangezur corridor, will boost transport, transit, and logistics ties between our nations. The Middle Corridor connects Central Asia to Türkiye via Azerbaijan, which signifies achieving the unity of the Turkic world,” Özdemir emphasized.
He further noted that timing is critical for global business today. “The Middle Corridor will reduce the delivery time of cargo from Asia to Europe from 20 days to just 10, ensuring faster delivery and lower transport costs.”
The company head added that they plan to establish their primary transport link with Azerbaijan specifically through the Zangezur corridor. “Once the corridor is operational, we will route all logistics for our Azerbaijani projects through this path,” he concluded.
