UZAZ-2023 exercises kick off in Uzbekistan

According to the bilateral cooperation plan for 2023 signed between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan, the UZAZ-2023 computer-assisted tactical command-staff exercises have started, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
At the first stage of the joint exercises held at the Chirchiq training range of the Tashkent region, the servicemen of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan fulfilled the tasks of organizing and planning special combat activities on a computer and a map.
The main objectives of the exercises are to conduct a mutual exchange of experience, organize interoperability between the servicemen of both states, improve the staff officers’ skills in making decisions on the map, as well as to further increase the level of their professionalism and training.
